Steven Kimball conducts research with the Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE) and the Value-Added Research Center (VARC) within WCER. Steve’s work with the CPRE Teacher Compensation Project included research and dissemination on standards-based teacher evaluation and compensation reforms.
Steve was also the co-Principal Investigator of a 2005-2007 study funded by the Institute for Educational Sciences on performance evaluation of principals.
His work with VARC includes technical assistance with the Center for Educator Compensation Reform, and evaluations of literacy coaching and mentoring in Milwaukee Public Schools.
Steve is Principal Investigator for the evaluation of the Chicago Community Trust Education Program.
