Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER)

CIMER faculty and staff believe that effective research mentoring relationships are critical to developing and diversifying the next generation of researchers. At CIMER, organizations and institutions can learn how to improve these relationships with all stakeholders. We work with all career stages and promote cultural change that values excellence in research mentoring. We develop, implement and evaluate mentor and mentee training using theoretically-grounded, evidence-based, and culturally-responsive training interventions and investigations.
